Putting ideas together for client on a mood board to get a feeling for concept.
Planning the layout, style, colour scheme and furniture pieces.
Creating a 3D design if required by client.
Sourcing furniture fabrics, lights accessories etc, and putting quotation together.
Ordering of custom made items and everything needed to complete the design.
Doing the necessary renovations, flooring, light fittings, painting etc.
Installation of blinds curtains, furniture, styling of accessories, etc. And finally revealing the end result to clients.

In July 2016, I purchased and took ownership of an unfurnished apartment in Camps Bay, Cape Town. After a rather disastrous episode with another interior Design and Décor company, I contacted Urban Lifestyle through their web site with the brief:
‘I am looking for a turnkey service which is more than a copy, cut and paste exercise and has heart and soul to embrace the space for me and for short sub-lets’.
Now I must emphasise that interiors definitely are not in my line of expertise, and I was quite nervous about allowing someone else to ‘dress’ my new Camps Bay acquisition. In addition, I am Johannesburg based and would have to truly trust the choices and taste of the interior D&D company.
Jeanne-Marie promptly contacted me. After an initial exchange of ideas and exploring options, she made her proposals. ‘Trust me’ she said with her infectious laugh, when I nervously questioned details of her proposal. And eventually I did learn to really trust her judgement and taste.
I really felt that Urban Lifestyle went above and beyond to create an amazing, totally liveable space, which is both ideal for me, and robust enough to sustain the intended sub-lets. Their attention to detail, ability to deliver on their promises and ability to complete some quite tricky structural modifications without fuss or bother, actually surprised and delighted me. Whilst their designs were not cheap, I felt that I got value for money. In addition, they completed all their work on time.
